Implants
(implant-supported prostheses)

Implantology consists of placing an artificial root in an edentulous region to replace a missing tooth. A titanium anchor is fitted securely to the bone. The benefit of this procedure is that it provides you with a brand-new tooth that is independent of the adjacent teeth.
The first step (surgical) is to place the implant like a makeshift root. The second step (prosthetic) consists of adding a prosthesis to the implant. This prosthesis, fixed or removable, will replace one or more missing teeth. The implant and its crown can provide masticatory function that is equivalent to a natural tooth and is frequently the preferred option to replace a missing tooth.
